Building a relationship with Leicester Tigers

Leicester Tigers are a professional rugby union club based in Leicester. They play in Premiership Rugby, England’s top division of rugby.

We began collaborating with the Leicester Tigers back in January 2020. Our relationship started with providing the team with sports signage, including pitch boards and sponsor backdrops. Following on from the initial branding project and the launch of the club’s Associate Partner programme, we became the Tiger’s trusted signage partner in September 2020. We are thrilled to be supporting the Tigers in achieving their goals whilst also bringing value to the club and its fanbase.

We were recently tasked with rebranding their newly named ‘Mattioli Woods Welford Road’ stadium. Welcoming guests with impactful illuminated branding outside through to striking pitch side boards, their name is reinforced at every turn.

COVID-19 Protection

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for infection control products at high footfall areas within the grounds, such as reception desks. We manufactured and branded a suite of sneeze screens to help assist in protecting employees and the public.

Our relationship with the Leicester Tigers has involved the following projects:

  • Designing and installing pitch boards
  • Installing illuminating signage
  • External and internal signage
  • Designing, manufacturing and installing branded sneeze screens
  • Installing branded dug outs

At Dragon, we understand the importance of creating an experience using our signage in order to generate authentic conversations around your brand.

With end-to-end process management, we manufactured signs for the Leicester Tigers to their required size and specification in order to create a memorable sporting atmosphere.

The new assets have massively enhanced the Leicester Tigers experience for fans and players alike – engaging people as they arrive and allowing for an increase in brand perception.
