Official Signage Partner of Football Association of Wales (FAW)

The Football Association of Wales (FAW) is one of the oldest national football associations in the world. They organise and regulate both domestic and international football activities including the national team for men, women and youth. They are committed to promoting the sport throughout Wales, enhancing the skills of players, and fostering a passion for football at all levels of the game.

 

The Project

The FAW came to Dragon Signs searching for imagery and branding that’s reflected through signage of the highest quality.

Branding at sporting events plays a crucial role in shaping the atmosphere, enhancing fan engagement and driving commercial success. Effective branding helps reinforce the values of the events, promote sponsors and create a sense of unity among the crowd. Our signage contributes to this impact, from the team colours and logos to sponsorship placements, we’ve helped strengthen the connection between the game, the fans and the brands involved.

The partnership is now longstanding; we provide all FAW stadium branding at match grounds and training facilities including Cardiff City Stadium, Swansea City Stadium and Wrexham FC alongside producing sponsorship artwork. We are committed to sustainability, re-using materials wherever possible to minimise waste and environmental impact. Unlike many other sign providers, we offer a complete in-house service, enabling them to design, manufacture, and install products for customers quickly and to a high specification.

 

Some key features of the project include:

  • Temporary use vinyl for door and seat stickers.
  • Correx for interview boards.
  • Magnetic vinyl in each tunnel.
  • Pitch boards for sponsorship opportunities.

 

The Relationship 

We have since become the first official sponsor of the FAW Amateur Trophy, with the competition being renamed as the ‘Dragon Signs Amateur Trophy’. The partnership was built upon a strong and trusting relationship between both organisations.
